Victims Rights D.C. Code § 16-2340

  1. The right to be treated with dignity, respect, courtesy, sensitivity, and with respect for your privacy.
  2. The right to be notified in advance of dates and times of all hearings and trials.
  3. The right to be provided a waiting area that is separate from the respondents/family/friends.
  4. The right to be informed of financial assistance, criminal injuries compensation, and any other social services available.
