Thurs, 8/9: AG Racine to Honor District Youth at Right Direction Awards Ceremony

Attorney General Karl A. Racine will host the fourth annual Attorney General's Right Direction Awards. These awards celebrate young people who have overcome significant challenges, are putting themselves on a successful life path, and are effecting positive change in their communities. OAG will be presenting awards to 36 District youth, ranging in age from 12 to 24, to honor their remarkable achievements.

This year's keynote speaker is Zion Kelly, twin brother of Zaire Kelly, a former Right Direction Award winner whose life was cut short due to gun violence. Zion has become a national advocate to end gun violence and an inspiration to those working to make our communities safer.
