WHO/WHAT:             
Attorney General Karl A. Racine will join OAG’s Seema Gajwani and Lashonia Thompson on WPFW-89.3 FM’s “CrossRoads” with Roach Brown this morning to discuss forward-thinking prosecutorial reforms that enhance public safety by connecting offenders with the supports they need to get on the right track. Those include the Office of the Attorney General’s (OAG) successful Restorative Justice program that brings those affected by a crime together for a discussion to hold offenders accountable, empower victims, and repair the harm caused by crime. At OAG, more than 80 percent of the youth who have successfully completed the program have not subsequently been re-arrested.
