Attorney General Racine Inducted into Haitian Roundtable’s ‘1804 List’ of Haitian-American Changemakers

Organization Supports Haitian Causes and Raises Awareness of Haitian-American Community

Washington, DC – Attorney General Karl A. Racine today thanked the leaders of the Haitian Roundtable for inducting him into their 1804 List in a March 21 gala ceremony in New York. The organization – which brings together Haitian-American professionals for civic engagement and support of causes and organizations important to Haiti and Haitian Americans – annually recognizes a select group of Haitian-American leaders in the arts, activism, the sciences, the law and other fields of endeavor for bringing positive change.

“As a proud Haitian American, it is an honor to be recognized by the Haitian Roundtable,” Attorney General Racine said. “I am truly humbled by being included along with so many impressive leaders from across our nation who have truly earned the name ‘Changemaker.’ These individuals have honored Haiti’s legacy of independence by contributing their skills and talents for the betterment of Haiti and the United States.”
