WASHINGTON, DC – Attorney General Brian L. Schwalb today sent a letter to At-Large DC Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie regarding the Safe Neighborhoods Amendment Act of 2024, legislation that would combine the Office of Attorney General’s Cure the Streets violence interruption program with violence interruption initiatives currently housed within the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement.
