WASHINGTON, D.C. – Attorney General Karl A. Racine announced today that the District of Columbia and 33 states have settled claims that automakers Hyundai and Kia misrepresented the mileage and fuel economy ratings for some of their model year 2011, 2012 and 2013 vehicles. The settlement resolves allegations that the companies, through those misrepresentations, violated the District’s consumer protection laws and those of other states.
WASHINGTON, D. C. – The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) has reached a settlement with Ronald Moten, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Peaceoholics, Inc., to resolve allegations that the anti-gang violence organization violated the False Claims Act and misused District grant funds.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Attorney General Karl A. Racine today sued Google, LLC for deceiving and manipulating consumers to gain access to their location data, including making it nearly impossible for users to stop their location from being tracked. Three other attorneys general also plan to file lawsuits in their own state courts in a bipartisan, coordinated effort to hold Google accountable for misleading and violating the privacy of its users.

Consumers who have RadioShack gift cards with an unused balance can go to the website www.oldradioshackgiftcards.com to read about the claims process and obtain a claim form that they can submit electronically or by mail.
