The National Medical Support Notice (NMSN) is made up of four documents:

An Employer's Responsibility upon Receiving a NMSN

Step 1: Determine whether any of the first four options on the Employer Response form apply.

Step 2: If one of the four options applies, complete the Employer Response form and return it to the child support agency within 20 business days. If none of the four options applies, forward Part B to the company's health plan administrator.

The initial ACA replacement plan that President Trump and Republican leaders proposed earlier this year would have cut federal funding for drug treatment by an estimated $5.5 billion.

WASHINGTON, D. C. – Attorney General Karl A. Racine announced today that the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) Office of Consumer Protection has filed a lawsuit against a company that operates apartments like hotel rooms, including some apartments that are rent-controlled. The complaint also includes the owners and managers of four apartment complexes that are involved.

Attorney General Racine and Counterparts Urge Department of Labor Not to Delay Fiduciary Rule in Response to President

WASHINGTON, D. C. – Attorney General Karl A. Racine has joined Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller and a group of six other state attorneys general in a letter urging the U.S. Department of Labor to lift its delay in implementing a rule designed to protect consumers. The rule would require financial advisors to put their clients’ best interests ahead of their own profit -- but President Trump has expressed concerns about the rule and asked the Labor Department to review it.

In Council Testimony, AG Racine Advocates for Better Ways to Protect Seniors from Financial Exploitation

Washington, DC – Attorney General Karl A. Racine testified last week before the Council of the District of Columbia’s Committee on the Judiciary in support of the purposes and objectives of legislation to protect seniors from financial exploitation. In addition, he proposed exploring further legislative tools that would enable District officials to intervene more quickly to protect seniors’ assets in cases where others may be exploiting them for financial gain.
