Racine today announced a lawsuit against Turning Natural, Inc. and Jerri Evans – a local cafe and its owner – for failing to pay employees minimum wage and overtime, and failing to provide paid sick leave. In the complaint, the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) alleges that Turning Natural systematically underpaid workers and failed to provide its employees with legally-required paid sick leave.

Saylor, a billionaire technology executive who has resided in the District of Columbia for more than a decade but who has never paid any DC income taxes—despite earning hundreds of millions of dollars. The lawsuit also names MicroStrategy—a publicly-traded data tracking company Saylor co-founded—as a defendant, alleging that it conspired to help him evade taxes he legally owes.

Wilkins, most recently a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, will serve as Senior Counsel to the Attorney General. Ms. Wilkins will advise Attorney General Racine, Chief Deputy Attorney General Natalie Ludaway, and other Office of the Attorney General (OAG) staff on complex legal and policy issues.
